In December 2021, Range Group purchased an existing 22,000 SF office building and accompanying 30 car parking lot in Chicago’s emergent Avondale neighborhood. Recognizing the intense demand by urban users for properties with on-site parking, Range Group secured a double net lease at the property with Merlin Day Academy, a unique sensory integrated therapeutic school for middle and high school aged children with disabilities enrolled in the Chicago Public School system. Commencing May 1, 2022, Range Group gut rehabilitated the Property performing all landlord and tenant work in 8 months’ time to allow Merlin Day Academy to open its classroom doors for the start of the second semester.
