Jared Rubin is a Co-founder and Principal of Range Group, a real estate development and management company focusing on ground-up and value-add opportunities across asset classes. Jared's passion for real estate started at a young age while working as a property manager for his family's real estate company.

Jared began his career working with the Real Estate Valuation and Consulting Group at KPMG. Thereafter, he joined Shapack Partners, helping it transform Fulton Market from an industrial meat packing area into one of the country's most vibrant and growth-oriented neighborhoods. At Shapack Partners, his responsibilities included identifying, modeling, and exercising intense diligence on acquisition targets across several asset classes, including office, retail, luxury multi-family, and hospitality projects.

Jared graduated from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University with a BS in Finance-Real Estate and lives in Chicago's Fulton Market with his wife.

Seth Halpern is a Co-founder and Principal of Range Group, a real estate development and management company focusing on ground-up and value-add opportunities across asset classes. Over the past 20 years, Seth has participated in the acquisition, development/re-development, management, and disposition of several billion dollars' worth of real estate transactions encompassing all asset classes.

Seth began his career as a real estate attorney representing landlords and tenants of all sizes located throughout the country. In 2010, Seth began purchasing and managing his own real estate assets in Chicago and Denver. Simultaneously, Seth served as a Principal and General Counsel of Shapack Partners, where he was instrumental in the creation and growth of the dynamic Fulton Market neighborhood in Chicago. In 2021, Seth continued to pursue his passion for real estate investing by starting his own real estate company focusing on unique and varied projects in and around Chicago and the Midwest.

Seth received his Juris Doctor from Chicago-Kent College of Law and a B.A. from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He lives in Deerfield with his wife and two children.

Brett Katz is a Co-founder and Principal of Range Group, a real estate development and management company focusing on ground-up and value-add opportunities across asset classes. With over 20 years' experience in real estate transactions and property management across the Midwest, Brett previously owned and operated Aries Real Estate to focus on value acquisitions of select commercial, multifamily, and retail properties. In his role, Brett oversees all business activities and operations, including the management of both Range's real estate-owned assets and third-party managed properties.

Prior to founding Range Group, Brett was a principal at R&D Katz Real Estate after starting his career at Marcus & Millichap, a leading national investment real estate company.

Brett is actively involved in the International Council for Shopping Centers and served on the board of the Jewish United Fund. He also served on the board of the Parkinson's Disease Research Society from 2010-2019, where he raised over $10 million to establish a research chair at Northwestern Hospital.

Brett earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland, College Park, and lives in Northbrook with his wife and four children. He is an avid golfer, runner, and skier.
